movie

i went to Shinjuku to see my cousin. we saw "Oceans12" and had tea, then went to a Thai restaurant at Kabuki-cho. my cousin and i can handle hot food, but the curry was incredibly hot!!!! i couldn't take it... i spent like 60 bucks today  i did enjoy the movie and talking anyways. we were there about 10 hours i guess. so this was a long day.
i didn't bring my camera today... i took these pix with my camera phone...
we had a strong earthquake at 5 in the morning. it was really big one and i couldn't do anything at that moment. i just opened the window, held shelves steady, and waited until the quake stoped. you know, i got panicky so i couldn't do anything!!! i hate earthquakes!!!!

One of my best friends gave me souvenirs yesterday since she went to Spain last month!! Thanx!
I think I should add the explanation about "White Day" that I wrote yesterday. Japanese made "White Day" which is celebrated on March 14, one month after Valentine's Day. In Japan, V-Day is only for girls girls give gifts (usually chocolates) to boys!! (I think it's not fair... since i want chocolates.) and, V-Day is regarded as a chance for a girl to tell a boy she loves him but girls also give gifts to their male colleagues or friends, as a token of their love or good will. In that case, the gift is called "Giri", or Obligation Chocolate, since it is given from the sense of obligation, and not from love. anyway, the boys must return the favor one month later, on "White Day". The present on White Day is usually white chocolate or candies. these days the present ranges from sweets to accessories tho. Got it?

V-Day is just around the corner I made chocolates<3 it's little earlier than the others tho.
In Japan, it has become the day on which women should give gifts (usually chocolates) to their boy friends and also to their male friends and so on. On the other hand, men should reciprocate the gifts on White Day ( March 14 ). They usually give candies or small gifts. But I want chocolates rather than that sort of thing The Japanese adopted traditional Western holiday celebrations and tripped of their meaning!! hmmm...

An old friend of mine from high school will graduate from a dressmaking school next month  congrats A graduation fashion show took place today I went to see the show with a mutual friend of ours from high school It's been a long time since we got together.
I was sooo happy to be invited cuz I had never been to such a fashon show. Anyway, the show was absolutely amazing  There were tons of people and they wore chic clothes Unfortunately, the show floor was packed to capacity, so we had to stand throughout the show (about an hour)... But I really enjoyed it!!! I totally liked the clothes that she designed. Thanks kato!!
After the show, we met her and talked. It seemed she felt a sense of accomplishment.
She'll start working at a clothing company this April. Break a leg

Girls' night out=)

I had dinner with my sis and cousin at Shibuya/ Tokyo. We went to a Korean restaurant and ordered 6 dishes I wanna take my friends to the restaurant someday soon cuz I totally liked it!! After dinner we talked over a cup of tea at a cafe. We mainly talked about my future like the job hunt and the job which suits me. Since my cousin knows lots of things like an untold story behind some business field or stuff like that, she told me interesting stories about jobs. It was really fun to know that sort of thing. And also she gave me tons of advice about a job, so I spent meaningful time last night.

The weather has been very nice lately

I've been busy filling out kinda job application. I gotta submit several job applications during the spring vacation esp this month The only consolation is a clear sky  I'm getting quite sick of the job hunt  It's just getting started tho  ha ha
